Catherine Sarah Young is a Chinese-Filipina artist, designer, and writer who creates works that investigate nature, our role in nature, and the tensions between nature and technology, exploring themes such as climate change, sustainability, science policy, citizen science, and feminism. Recent bodies of work include The Apocalypse Project, Future Rx, and Wild Science. She has an international exhibition, residency, and awards profile and has collaborated with scientists, companies, non-profit organizations, and communities, most recently in Southeast Asia, Uganda, and the Amazon rainforest.
