Grzegorz Kwiatkowski (born 1984 in Gdańsk, Poland) - poet, musician.

Published five books: “Przeprawa” (The Crosssing) 2008, “Eine Kleine Todesmusik” 2009, “Osłabić” (Weaken) 2010, “Radości” 2013 and „Spalanie” (2015) in the best polish publishing house – Biuro Literackie. Translated into English (Marek Kazmierski – “Powinni się nie urodzić / They Should Not Have Been Born” – the trilogy of the first three books) and German (Bernhard Hartmann – “Radości / Freuden”). English book was published in 2011 year in OFF Press Publishing House in Great Britain. German book will be published in 2016 in berlin KLAK Verlag Publishing House.

His german poems were published in „Ostragehege”. His poems were also translated into russian by Okun Vladimir Borisovich and where published in russian „Inostrannaja Literatura”.

His poetry is taking part of Europian Versopolis Project.
Member of the music group Trupa Trupa.

Author of the script for the “Duety niestniejące” play by Theater Dada von Bzdülöw and Mikołaj Trzaska (2011). Co-author of the libretto adaption for “Madame Curie” opera by Elżbieta Sikora (2011). Performed the score for “Istota” by Polka Dot collective (2012).

Created the visual installations together with Maciej Salamon and Maciej Chodziński – “Powinni się nie urodzić” (2010) and “Niech żyją nam / Nie żyją nam” (2012).

Beneficiary of the International House of Writers Graz Scholarship (2015, Austria). Shortlisted for the Polityka Passports (2015, 2009, 2010). Beneficiary of the Polish National Centre for Culture scholarship Młoda Polska (2013). Beneficiary of the Polish Ministry of Culture scholarship. (2012).

Nominated by the Aktivist magazine in the artist of the year category for the ++ album by Trupa Trupa (2014). Winner of the Splendor Gedanensis prize (2011, nominated in 2010 and 2014). Winner of the Marshall of Pomorskie Region special prize (2013). Three-time winner of the Storm of the Year prize by Gazeta Wyborcza (2012 for the LP album by Trupa Trupa, 2014 for literature and ++ album by Trupa Trupa, also nominated in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013). Two-time winner of the Gdansk Association of Friends of the Arts prize (2011, 2014). Winner of the Young Artist of the Year in Gdansk (2009). Beneficiary of the Grazella Foundation Scholarship (2009). Two-time beneficiary of the City of Gdansk scholarship (2010, 2014). Two-time beneficiary of the Marshall of Pomorskie Region scholarship (2011, 2014). Honorable mention in the Złoty Środek Poezji competition (2009).
