Lada Nakonechna was born in 1981 in Ukraine.
She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Art and Architecture in Ukraine
(MA) in 2006 and finished three year post graduate course there.
She is author of drawings, public space actions, installations, videos and performances. Most of her drawings develop into performances, while her photographs
play the role of installations, constructing factitious apparatuses integrating the architecture of the spaces they occupy. She deals with an analysis of reality using various artistic means and referring to the current political and social problems.
Lada Nakonechna has participated in numerous international and
Ukrainian exhibitions (as well in museums of Ukraine, Russia, Estonia,
Hungary, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Austria, USA) individually and as part of the R.E.P.
group (revolutionary experimental space, since 2004).
Lada had personal exhibitions and projects in Berlin, Warsaw,
Toulouse, Zurich, Kyiv. In 2011 in Leipzig she realized project in public
space - the wall drawing in University Library "Albertina".

She is laureate of Malevich Award-2014 in Kyiv and have got second Special Prize of the PinchukArtCentre Prize, Kyiv, also she is winner of the Third Ukrainian Competition for Young Curators and Artists (Center for Contemporary Art at NaUKMA) in 2003.

Lada Nakonechna also creates and curates exhibitions together with the curatorial
and activist union Hudrada (Artistic committee, from 2008, www.hudrada.tumblr.com), and is a
member of ISTM (Art Workers’ Self-defense Initiative, http://istmkyiv.wordpress.com/manifest/).
From 2012 teaching in Sсhool for visual Art in Kyiv.
