In Search of the Real Vienna

Christoph Schörg, Alexander Külcü und Daniel Weilinger, students at HLMW9 Michelbeuern, an upper secondary school focussing on business professions, fashion and dressmaking, in Vienna’s ninth district, have proven that dialogue events with artists in schools can be more than just interesting and inspiring moments. The students developed and realised a project they are submitting as part of their A-Levels requirements in cooperation with the croatian artist and former KKA-artist in residence Tonka Maleković and will be presenting the artistic and documentary results on 29. 02. 2012 at 07.00 pm at Gallery ArtPoint. Res Artis - Residencies: Gates and Bridges

Res Artis is The International Association of Residential Arts Centres, a foundation based in the Netherlands. Its members are residence centres and artist's organisations that encourage the development of contemporary art and support artists through residential artist exchange programs. With over 300 members from more than 50 countries it is the largest existing network of artist residency programs.
