Since 2002, Henkel Central Eastern Europe has sponsored the Henkel Art.Award. together with KulturKontakt Austria - the only comprehensive art promotion prize for Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
The Bank Austria Literaris was launched in 2006 and is staged every two years. This literature award aims to present works by Eastern and Southeastern European authors to readers and audiences in the German-speaking world and direct attention to the exciting polyphony of literary voices in the region.
The EditionZwei series of books was initiated by Bank Austria and KulturKontakt Austria in 2001. Its goal is to promote authors from Eastern and South Eastern Europe who are still unknown in Austria, to help them get publicity and obtain new publishing contracts.
