Coordination of ACEnet | Europe-wide network of civil servants working in culture and education

From 2008 to 2010 this group of experts commissioned by the EU in the context of the »Open Method of Coordination (OMC)« worked on recommendations at national and European level relating to the subject of »synergies between culture and education«.
In 2008 KKA, on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education, Arts and Culture, took over the coordination of the OMC working group on the subject of »content of cultural and artistic education in an EU country comparison«. In June 2010 an interim report was submitted to the European Commission.

Grundtvig learning partnership INCREASE – Intercultural Creativity of Seniors

The goal of this learning partnership has been exchange between the partner countries to promote the intercultural creativity of seniors.The meetings in the partner countries focused on an exchange of methods and successful practice models for cultural learning and participation on the part of senior citizens.The partnership was a result of cooperation with »age-culture.net«, the European partnership for aging and culture. It has been coordinated by the Europäisches Zentrum für Kultur und Bildung im Alter (KUBIA, European centre for culture and education of seniors) in Remscheid and was comprised of partners in Belgium, Hungary, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and England, in addition to KKA.
