Bukarest

KKA’s main cooperation partners in Romania are the Romanian Ministry of Education and Romania’s National Agency for Community Programmes in the Field of Education and Vocational Training. The main focus of the cooperation is on vocational education and training.

Key Focuses:

The training firm teaching concept in formal and non-formal education

Competence-oriented performance assessment in vocational education and training

Entrepreneurship Education

Since September 2010, the implementation of the project "Entrepreneurship Education”, financed by the European Social Fund, has been in progress in Romania under the direction of Romania’s National Agency for Vocational Education and Training. The project supports the further training of teaching staff at vocational schools with the aim of developing the professional competences required for introducing the interactive “training firm” teaching and learning method. In 2010 a concept for the training of multipliers was developed, on the basis of which 600 teachers nation-wide are receiving in-service training in 2011.
